This well-preserved livery
stable, dated on a terra-cotta plaque complete with
horsehead motif, is an attractive reminder of the
importance of transport to West Philadelphia's
development. The three segmental arch entryways and
interior ramp giving access to the second floor appear to
be original.
Update May
2007 (by
Harry Kyriakodis):
Still standing and used as an auto repair garage. The
building next door, at 4527, is distinctive in its own
right, for similar reasons.
